Redcon Engineering and Red Direct Sweep Junior Market Livestock Hog Sale at Washington County Fair WASHINGTON, PA, August 22, 2022 – Redcon Engineering was able to outlast a barrage of bidders to win the 2023 Grand Champion Market Hog at the Washington County Agricultural Fair last Saturday. The top-rated hog was raised by Parker Gardner of the Ten Mile 4-H Club. Bidding on behalf of Redcon was Becca Straight, wife of principal Keith Straight, P.E.. April 28, 2023 - Keith Straight, Principal, and Duncan Nickles, Director of Land Development represented Redcon Engineering at the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS) 100th conference from April 23-26 at the Hershey Lodge. It was a great time with friends from Robinson and representatives from other townships. The Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS) is an organization that has been serving townships of the second class since 1921. PSATS services include lobbying, legislative research and analysis, policy development, learning & education, communications, insurance, affiliate associations, and emergency management.

April 26, 2023 - Last month, our very own Ed Hirzel and his 11-year-old daughter Juliette completed the 26.2 mile Bataan Memorial Death March at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. Ed, a veteran of the US Army Infantry Branch, was a part of the heavy division which required him to carry at least 35-pound rucksack, whereas Juliette is an 11-year-old who was among the youngest to complete the marathon. October 14, 2022 - Representatives from the Redcon Engineering team attended the 106th annual Washington County Association of Township Officials in Southpointe, PA. The night was filled with fun, laughter and updates on the economic status of Washington County.
